Update 3.0 is Out


The time has finally come

After a lengthy 2 and a half years in development, the mythical 3.0 update if finally out and around for all to play.

Next up, a break, after that i'll get to doing 3.1 for realsies and hopefully get it out before it snowballs into another 2 year update

changelog's massive so here's a summed up version:

  - 12 New enemies

  - New Missions:

     - Disintegration (Tier 5)

  - Tweaked the Mission Mode Menu to make it simpler and easier to read.

  - Added City Levels 26-40, Which are CRAZY hard levels only avaliable once you reach rank 80.

     - (Every world will be getting a expansion through future updates, each getting harder and harder!)

-- [ Collect-a-Thon ]

  

  - Collect-a-Thon has received many changes to make it more enjoyable and make the rewards easier to get:

  

    - Combos! killing enemies increases your Combo, When the Meter reaches a cap/you end your Combo, you'll get a large sum of Points!

- Bonuses: Every time you reach a Given Score Quota, you will receive a small bonus which can be either in crystals, gems, tower points or upgrade shards!

  

  - The Longer you play, the higher this quota will get! Though Combos will usually speed up the process by a lot...

  

- Added a Fallback Rotation, If the current month does not have a specific arena, it will use one from a predetermined pool.

- Collect-a-Thon now records high-scores for the current month.

-- [ Timed Maps ]

   - Short Campaigns avaliable monthly (though not every month!)

   

   - Beat them to earn Crystals and Red Gems.

   

   - Special "Invasion" Maps that are longer, have special, unique enemies and provide additional rewards are avaliable occasionally, usually

   around holidays.

   

-- [ Tower Skins ]

   - Change the appearence of your towers with special skins obtainable through the Gauntlet, or Timed Maps.

   

   - Not all towers have skins at the moment, though more are yet to release.

   

-- [ Quests ]

   - Complete Quests to earn additional currency when doing other things.

   

   - Currently only give out Upgrade Shards, Red Gems and Crystals, though later on they may give out other types of items.

   

   - They refresh every day, or can be manually refreshed at the cost of 3 Red Gems.

-- [ Upgrades ]

  - Added upgrades! these can be unlocked after certain levels and grant you permanent perks!

    - Bonus Scraps: Lets you start levels with 10 extra scraps! Obtained after 2-15.

- Bonus Tower Slot: Take an Extra Tower with you on every level! Obtained after 4-17.

-- [ Endless Zones ]

  - Revamped Generation Code to enhance the overall levels.

  

    -> Tundra Endless Zone:

      - Ice Blocks with bombs or triple sasquatchlings can now spawn in levels 6 and up.

  

-> Naval Endless Zone:

  - Armored Crates can spawn from levels 15 and up.

    -> Desert Endless Zone:

      - Added 7 New Pitfall Patterns.

-- [ Misc. ]

  -> Robber Cushions! Sneaky fellas which can appear during flag waves, they will run away when hit, but if you bring one of them down, they drop tons of crystals!

    - (Hint Hint: They appear more often in endless zones, the higher the level, the higher the odds! [Caps at Level 50, Where they have a 1/5 chance of appearing!]

    - (They also have a different look for each individual world!)

  -> The Gauntlet:

    -- Reworked the way the gauntlet works; levels are now randomly generated, as opposed to the old template-based selection.

   - Levels can feature special objectives and grid items.

-- Every 5 wins in the gauntlet, you get a piece for a random upgrade tower!

  -> Added a Level Progress Bar, which shows how far into a level you are and displays the amount of flag waves.

  

  -> Reduced the size of the mineline's hitbox to make mineline levels easier.

  -> Added 30 New Medals (Twice as many as before!)

  -> Added a new charred death animation for when enemies die to fire/explosions.

  

  -> Reworked Knockback.

  

  -> Status Effects now have visuals to help identify what effects a enemy has.

  

  -> Added a new settings menu, along with new options:

    - Automatically activate 2x Speed: automatically activates the fast forward button at the start of the level.

-- Fixed a bug that caused multiple tower slots to be highlighted at once in conveyor belt levels

-- Fixed the cryo cannon only freezing the enemy it hits, and not every enemy within the blast radius.

-- Fixed spike/sawblade carpets not being counted for "Don't have more than X Towers" levels and the "Last One Standing" Medal

-- Fixed a bug that caused most enemies to still use their abilities while stunned

-- Cushion Disguices are now fully visible while stunned

-- Added a Quit Button to the Tower Selection Sequence

 -> Shotgun/SSG - Bullets now lose damage as they fly, they can lose up to 2 damage, base damage of both shotguns increased by 2.

 -> Sniper - Bullets can pierce up to 3 enemies if they are within close proximity; Every 3rd shot is a "Crit shot" which deals 2x Damage.

   - Damage Upgrades are Less Effective.

   

 -> Tesla - Now shoots a medium range bolt of lightning that bounces from nearby enemies (and can ricochet between multiple enemies if suitable)
